ABOUT
Bella Silva is a dynamic and versatile artist based in New York City, most commonly known for her excellence in tap dance and musical theatre.
Her performance credits include American Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker, starring Misty Copeland; “West Coast Desperados” music video directed by Derek Hough; L.A. County Holiday Celebration live on PBS at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion; and Legends: An Original Musical at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. She has been featured as a dancer in Leo Manzari’s Kick In The Door, performances as a featured soloist with renowned jazz recording artist Brenna Whitaker, and appeared on Telemundo, in a national television commercial for Macy’s, in industrial work for Mattel, and across other national and international platforms. Her performance career has taken her throughout the United States, Canada, and Brazil and Mexico, including an international appearance with Sarah Reich at the San Miguel Jazz Festival.
Bella is a proud alumna and former principal dancer of the acclaimed Reverb Tap Company, where she spent her formative years training and performing with the company across the United States and Canada. This early experience helped shape her versatility as a performer and deepened her connection to rhythm, musicality, and live performance.
Bella is a YoungArts Winner with Distinction in Dance, one of the highest honors awarded to emerging artists in the United States. She joins an accomplished community of YoungArts alumni that includes Timothée Chalamet, Viola Davis, and Jon Batiste. She is also a Grand Prize Winner in Dance through the Los Angeles Music Center’s prestigious Spotlight program, a recipient of the Laguna Dance Festival’s Young Artist Scholarship, and a former Artist of the Year recognized by the Orange County Register. Bella is also an alumna of The School at Jacob’s Pillow prestigious Tap Dance Program.
With a foundation in strong technique, musicality, and performance quality, Bella continues to expand her career across commercial, concert, theatrical, and multidisciplinary work. Her versatility and dynamic presence allow her to move seamlessly between styles and mediums, making her an exciting artist to watch on stage and screen.
